Hotel Statler
The Statler Hotel was built from 1905 to 1908, by Ellsworth M. Statler. The hotel originally stood as a temporary building for the 1901 Pan American Exposition, but was rebuilt as a permanent structure after being demolished at the end of the exposition. It was a Hotel of many firsts in the country, with each room having working hot water, its own bathroom, electricity, and a radio.
